You have the power to help HACC raise $20,000 toward phase one of the strategic three-year renovation worship facilities, modernizing the community support spaces and supporting the continued growth of HACC’s free, holistic educational, mentoring, and spiritual outreach ministry programs that serve numerous under-served people each year.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU GIVE:
Thanks to donors like you, HACC’s year has produced many success stories. Take our Family & Friends Community Day, for example, where we connected with the Waldorf, MD community with fellowship, food, fun, and school supplies. Generous donors like you helped us connect with over 150 parents, students, and friends – meeting vital needs.

Advent Celebration 2018: Prepare the Way

Advent marks the beginning of another year in the cycle of Scriptures that presents the narrative of the love of God revealed to the world. In our usual fashion, the worship resource planning team has chosen to take Advent, Christmas, and Epiphany together as a seven-part series to begin Year C in the Revised Common Lectionary. Each week (with the exception of the first Sunday after Christmas Day) includes two Scriptures–the Old Testament and gospel readings–that complement each other in illustrating how we are to “prepare the way of the Lord” (Lk. 3:4).
